Choose cover that fits your car and your use.

Compare liability, partial and comprehensive cover, deductibles and assistance.

Start with three questions

01Is the vehicle leased or owned?

02Who drives it and how often?

03What protection do you need for damage?

UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU COMPARE

The details that change your decision.

Start with the essentials, explore the trade-offs, then compare written terms for your situation.

Liability, partial casco and collision

Motor liability addresses covered damage to third parties. Partial casco addresses specified events affecting your vehicle, while collision cover adds covered damage from a collision. The exact events vary by policy. Compare the same car value, drivers, usage and deductible rather than treating every comprehensive package as equivalent.

Vehicle value and repair conditions

Ask what is paid after a total loss at each vehicle age: purchase-price compensation, increased value or market value may differ. Review garage choice, replacement car, glass limits, parking damage and roadside assistance. A low premium may come with a restricted repair network or higher excess.

Drivers, leasing and foreign travel

Declare young or occasional drivers and professional use accurately. For leasing, match the finance contract’s insurance requirements and inspect any gap between indemnity and the remaining amount owed. Check geographical limits, gross-negligence provisions and what happens to premiums after a claim.

AT A GLANCE

Keep these distinctions clear.
