Recover faster after a disruption.

Assess premises, equipment, stock and income at risk if operations stop.

Start with three questions

01What assets would need replacing?

02How long would recovery take?

03Which dependencies could stop your business?

UNDERSTAND BEFORE YOU COMPARE

The details that change your decision.

Start with the essentials, explore the trade-offs, then compare written terms for your situation.

A business built to last

Insure assets at the right value

List equipment, stock, fixtures and assets held at third-party premises. Compare replacement or current-value settlement and check seasonal stock peaks. Separate buildings from contents and identify which losses are covered: fire, water, theft, natural events and technical breakdown are not automatically one package.

Interruption needs its own calculation

Property cover repairs insured assets; interruption cover addresses specified financial consequences. Estimate lost gross profit, continuing expenses and extra costs using the policy’s definitions. Choose a recovery period that includes rebuilding, replacement machinery and rebuilding the customer base, not only the physical repair.

Dependencies can be the weakest point

Map key suppliers, utilities, cloud providers and single machines. Ask whether losses without physical damage or damage at a supplier are covered and subject to sublimits. Set a practical continuity plan for alternative premises, replacement equipment and emergency contacts.
